Little Girl's Boucle Poncho

Little Girl's Poncho

I was bored tonight and searched around for something to knit with 2 balls of Baby Boucle yarn. I found this pattern for a little girl's poncho on the Bernat.com website. I knit the size 2-4. I think there's actually enough yarn to make a baby sized one now. Here's a link to the pattern:

I'm not a big fan of knitting with Boucle yarn but this turned out really cute I think. Now.. to find someone to give it to..

Work in Progress

My next sweater will be a knitted jersey of the Montreal Canadiens. I don't have the logo graphed out yet... but here's what the jersey will look like:

I think I will try a v-neck on this one, to try to get it more authentic looking. My mom knit me one of these when I was 10, and even had #33 and Roy on the back of it, for my favorite goalie Patrick Roy. The real jerseys were several hundred dollars, so I never had a real one. I'll post the knitting graph when I'm finished graphing it out.

Ghostbusters Sweater

Ghostbusters Sweater!

This one still needs to be sewn together. It was supposed to be for Mason for Christmas but it's still sitting in a bag!

Elmo Sweater

Elmo Sweater!

Here's an Elmo sweater I knit. I think Mason got this one. We also sold a couple of these on eBay.

Big Bird Sweater

Big Bird Sweater!

Here's a sweater I knit of Big Bird from Sesame Street. This one hasn't found a home yet.

Dora the Explorer Sweater

Dora the Explorer!

This version of Dora the Explorer got sold on eBay as well. I made a pink one before that and gave it to my neighbour's granddaughter, MJ. Unfortunately it came out a little small, so she didn't get to wear it very long before it was outgrown.

Team Canada Hockey Sweater

Team Canada Hockey Sweater!

I knit this Team Canada hockey sweater based on the jersey at the time as well. It was sold on eBay. Here's what I was trying to do:

Vancouver Canucks Sweater

Vancouver Canucks Sweater!

Here's a sweater I made using the design of the Vancouver Canucks vintage jersey. I gave this to Riley as well. Here's the look I was going for:

Ernie Sweater

Ernie Sweater!

Here's Ernie from Sesame Street! This is one of my favorite sweaters. It sold on eBay.

Batman Sweater

Batman Sweater!

Batman got sold in a craft sale I think. I think we had 2 of them and they went to a family with twin boys.
